SUMMARY:Low Vision Golf Clinic
DESCRIPTION:Join us on the green for a welcoming\, adaptive golf experience open to individuals with low vision or blindness. Ages 6 years and up are welcome to participate. \nSight for All United is dedicated to removing barriers to vision care. Our work is rooted in the belief everyone deserves access to vision health care and the resources they need to live independently\, maintain their well-being\, and engage fully in their community. \nIn partnership with Youngstown Area Goodwill Industries and Envision Blind Sports\, we extend our mission beyond access to care by creating opportunities that empower individuals with low vision or blindness. Together\, we are committed to fostering environments that promote confidence\, skill-building\, and meaningful inclusion. \nThe Low Vision Golf Clinic is a reflection of this commitment. On June 1st\, the clinic will provide a welcoming and adaptive experience where participants will learn the fundamentals of golf\, engage in physical activity\, and connect with others in a supportive setting – regardless of their level of vision. Through guided instruction\, adaptive techniques\, and encouragement from trained staff and volunteers\, participants are able to build new skills while strengthening their sense of independence and self-confidence. \nVolunteering at the clinic is an equally meaningful experience. Volunteers will have the opportunity to build genuine connections\, gain a deeper understanding of life with low vision or blindness\, and play a hands-on role in fostering a more inclusive community. In doing so\, they will make a lasting impact on the individuals they serve and the community around them.
