Shaundretta is the powerhouse driving business growth for minority and women entrepreneurs across Ohio. As the Manager of Business Development & Entrepreneurship within the Minority Business Development Division at the Ohio Department of Development, she’s the go-to ally for talent-driven founders looking to scale, secure certifications, and land procurement opportunities.
With over 25 years in financial services—including senior roles at Chase, U.S. Bank, FirstMerit, and community development institutions—Shaundretta blends real-world experience with fierce dedication.
She’s the author of Minding My Black Owned Business: The Blueprint for Building on Concrete Not Quicksand, a bold guide equipping entrepreneurs of color to thrive.
Shaundretta isn’t just a behind-the-scenes strategist; she’s a visible champion, educator, and mentor—cutting through bureaucracy, elevating voices often overlooked, and showing what’s possible when preparation meets opportunity.

Stephanie Gilchrist, Moderator
Stephanie Gilchrist serves the City of Youngstown, bringing her passion for entrepreneurship, equity, and youth empowerment to the forefront. Formerly with the Youngstown Business Incubator, she continues to champion opportunities that uplift her community.

Catherine Cerrone Miller
Catherine Cercone Miller is the first female mayor of Struthers, Ohio, where she leads with heart, humor, and a deep commitment to community. A lifelong resident, Catherine is known for her collaborative leadership style and her passion for creating spaces where everyone feels heard and valued.
