Why Your Holiday Sales Start Now (Not in December)
Let’s start with something that might feel a little uncomfortable:
Your holiday revenue is not made in December.
It’s collected in December.
And every year, I watch the same thing happen—
People scramble:
- Posting more
- Selling more
- Discounting more
And then wonder why it didn’t hit the way they hoped.
Reality Check: December Is Not Your Strategy Month
December is execution.
So is November.
By the time you get there:
- People are overwhelmed
- Inboxes are flooded
- Budgets are already allocated
So if you’re showing up for the first time?
You’re not doomed.
You’re just late.
If You Want to Sell in December, You Need Attention Now
If you want strong holiday sales…
You need people paying attention in:
- September
- October
Tactic #1: Pick One Platform and Show Up Consistently
Not five.
One.
Commit to:
- 2–3 posts per week
- One human touchpoint (stories, conversations, DMs)
Because visibility compounds.
The people who buy in December?
They’ve been watching you for weeks (or longer).
Tactic #2: Build Trust Before You Sell
People don’t buy from strangers.
They buy from people they trust.
So right now:
- Talk about your work
- Share behind the scenes
- Show results
- Answer common questions
Not selling.
Just building trust.
Tactic #3: Launch Something Small First
This is where most people miss an opportunity.
Before your big holiday push…
Launch something small:
- A mini workshop
- A $10–$47 digital product
- A short-term group session
- A quick win offer
Why?
Because:
- It builds momentum
- Brings in cash now
- Warms up your audience
And here’s the key:
Your holiday buyers are often your pre-holiday buyers.
Tactic #4: Stop Relying Only on Social Media
Social media is great.
But email wins.
Create One Simple Lead Magnet
Something easy:
- Checklist
- Guide
- Worksheet
- Early access list
Then:
- Talk about it weekly
- Share it in your content
- Mention it in conversations
Because in December?
You don’t want to rely on the algorithm.
You want direct access.
Tactic #5: Get Clear on What You’re Selling (Now)
Ask yourself:
- What am I selling?
- Who is it for?
- Why does it matter during the holidays?
Then start seeding it now:
- Casually
- Naturally
- Consistently
So when you launch…
It doesn’t feel random.
Tactic #6: Stack Your Revenue Streams
Don’t rely on one offer.
Think in layers:
- Main offer (holiday push)
- Small digital product (now)
- Service or quick-win offer
- Affiliate or partnership opportunities
It doesn’t have to be complicated.
Just intentional.
The Shift That Changes Everything
Instead of thinking:
“I’m going to make money in December…”
Start thinking:
“I’m building my December now.”
Because what actually converts is:
- Trust
- Visibility
- Consistency
Not last-minute effort.
Final Thought
You’re not behind.
But if you want a strong holiday season…
You need to start.
Not perfectly.
Not all at once.
Just intentionally.
Because the people who win the holiday season?
They didn’t just show up when it mattered.
They showed up long before.

And if you’re feeling overwhelmed, behind, or like your time is constantly slipping through your fingers, it’s not because you’re doing it wrong.
It’s because no one ever taught you how to manage time in a way that honors:
-
Energy
-
Priorities
-
Real life
That’s why I host my live-only Time & Productivity Session — focused on implementation, not theory.
And if you’re craving connection, accountability, and honest conversations about building something that lasts, you’ll find that inside The Patch, the Dandelion-Inc membership.
Because staying in the game?
That’s the work — and it’s enough.
