Building a Business Is Like Making a Sandwich

You ever slap together a sandwich when you’re starving, only to take a bite and realize… you forgot the mustard? That’s what starting a business without a plan feels like. You might have a great idea (your bread) and the execution (your meat), but without systems, strategy, and an actual way to make money (the mustard, the lettuce, the little extras), it will never be at its best.

When I first launched Dandelion-Inc, I thought passion was enough. But passion without a plan is just a hobby. I had to step back, look at my “ingredients,” and make sure I had a business that could actually sustain itself.

Action Step: Take five minutes to list out the key pieces of your business—your offer, audience, messaging, systems, and revenue streams. What’s missing? Fill that gap this week.
